Judith Marlene Reese, 73, of Washington, died unexpectedly, Sunday, April 15, 2012.
She was born September 3, 1938, in McDonald, daughter of Ralph H. Keeney Jr. and Maurine Jenkins Keeney Braun.
Mrs. Reese was a 1956 graduate of Washington High School and a 1959 graduate of Washington Hospital School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse, having worked at The Washington Hospital and then at Woodville State Hospital for 10 years, and most recently as a private-duty nurse.
Mrs. Reese was a kind and loving mother and grandmother with a great sense of humor.
She was a member of North Ten Mile Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Timothy J. Reese (Nicole) of Washington; three daughters, Lydia Jane Reese (Capt. David H. Gates, USNR) of Fredericktown, Bridget A. Wolfe (D. Douglas) of Claysville and Rachel M. Russo (Michael) of Washington; a sister, Rebecca Weerkamp (Paul) of Fredericktown; 10 grandchildren, Juddson (Mindy) Wolfe, Joelle (Brandon) Yonish, Jorey Wolfe, John Elias Wolfe, Nicholas Russo, Nina Russo, Kelsey Reese, Benjamin Reese, Hayden Reese, and Addison Reese; two great-grandchildren, Emmett and Ella Wolfe; a cousin, Della MacDonald Gault; and a life-long friend, Sharon Miller.
Deceased is a brother, William R. Keeney.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Additional visitation will be held from Noon to 1 p.m., the time of service, Friday, April 20th, in North Ten Mile Baptist Church, with Rev. Duane Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in North Ten Mile Church Cemetery.
