Robert Charles Mack, Sr., 55, of Washington, died on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, in the Washington Hospital.
He was born on June 4, 1956, in Washington, a son of Mary M. Cramer Kastanias, of Washington, and the late Rev. Andrew Charles Mack, Jr.
Mr. Mack was an electrician, and had formerly worked as a lineman for West Penn Power Company.
He received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps, after 4 ½ years of service.
A member of the Christian Church of North America, he loved spending time with his grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and enjoyed riding motorcycles.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are 2 sons, Andrew Charles Mack, III, of Washington and Robert Charles Mack, of Dallas, PA; 3 daughters, Melissa Bird, Shastine Desensi and Danietra Mack, all of Washington; a brother, Samuel L. (Carla) Mack, Sr., of Burgettstown; a sister, who was his caregiver, Valerie L. Mack, of Washington; 8 grandchildren, Kylie, Meranda, Nicholas, Sarah, T.J., Anthony, Robert C., III, and Gia; 4 nieces and nephews, Samuel L. Mack, Jr., Joshua L. Mack, Allexus L. Mack and Angelo M. Mack, and an aunt, Debbie Plymire.
Friends will be received on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held immediately following at 8:00 p.m.
