Peggy Lee Barlow, 82, of Washington, died Monday, April 23, 2012, in the Washington Hospital.
She was born September 30, 1929, in Washington, daughter of John Patrick “Ted” and Elizabeth “Lib” Newman Reilly.
Mrs. Barlow was a graduate of Trinity High School and worked as a selector/packer at Brockway Glass for 10 years.
She enjoyed being with her family, especially on holidays, with St. Patrick’s Day being her favorite. She also enjoyed going to the casino. Mrs. Barlow was a member of Ladies of the Moose 318, VFW 927 and American Legion Edwin Scott Linton Post 175.
She was Catholic by faith.
On February 19, 1949, she married James Albert Barlow, who died October 22, 2010.
Surviving are a son, Danny James (Theresa) Barlow of Midwest City, Oklahoma; two daughters, Jamie Lee Wolfe and Lori Ann (James) Miller, both of Washington; grandchildren, James W. Steuernagel, Shawn J. (Kelly) Miller, Monica L. Miller, Shane P. (Nikki) Barlow, Danielle M. (Adam) Cloud, and Tiffany (Jeff) Prem; great-grandchildren, Reilly J. Steuernagel, Sam J. Cloud, Kenzi J. Miller, Sara Hathaway and Noah Hathaway; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 27th, with Pastor Harry Ankrom officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
