William E. Vance, Jr., 43, of Washington, died Friday, May 4, 2012, in UPMC – Montefiore, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness.
He was born July 4, 1968, in Washington, son of William E. (Jody) Vance, Sr. of Houston and Rose Salamone (Ralph) Murdy of Donegal.
Mr. Vance attended Bentworth schools before graduating from Beth Center High School in 1986.
He was the owner/operator of William Vance Jr. Roofing for the last 10 years, and prior to opening his business, had worked for his father at William Vance Sr. Roofing.
Mr. Vance enjoyed fishing, camping and riding quads.
He was a member of Church of Christ.
On August 28, 1993, he married Stacey Musolino, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, William E. Vance III; two daughters, Shae Musolino and Amber Vance, all of Washington; a brother, Rodney Vance of Washington; and two sisters, Joanie Perry of Bentleyville and Katie Vance of Houston.
Friends will be received Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 9th, with John Wright officiating.
