Joyce L. East

Joyce L. Young East was called home on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, after a brief illness. She was born on December 31, 1955, in Washington, daughter of the late Norman D. Young and Clara M. Howard Young. Surviving are a daughter, Tanya M. Young; six grandchildren, Khalil, Yashir, Khalia, Kiara, Khameelah and Koran Young; two brothers, Larry E. Young of Washington and Richard A. Young of Pittsburgh; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Deceased are a sister, Darlene L. Young East, and a brother, Norman Young Jr. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 11th, in St. Paul AME Church, 16 Ridge Avenue, Washington, with Rev. Arthur Doctor officiating. A luncheon will follow the service. Food donations may be taken to the church social room. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made in the name of Joyce East to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
