William "Jake" Radachy

William “Jake” Radachy, 55, of Washington, died on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at his residence, following a 3-year illness. He was born on February 10, 1957, in Waynesburg, a son, of Caroline Zetti Radachy, of Fredericktown, and the late William Frank Radachy. A graduate of Beth Center High School, he was Catholic by faith. Mr. Radachy was a 38-year employee of SMS Millcraft, where he had worked as a field services manager in various local factories, since the age of 17. He loved riding his Harley, boating and snow skiing. On February 1, 1997, he married Michele Lynn Patress, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Kenna, at home; 3 sisters, Cindy (John) Kime, of Clarksville; Marian (Troy) Hare, of Virginia Beach, VA; Christine Colborn, of Calabash, NC; nieces and nephews, J.B. and Lynn Kime, Lauren Kime, Judy Bartlett, Jacob (Jackie) Colborn, Joseph Colborn, Daniel Six, Jimmy Patress; in-laws, Bonnie and Kenny Patress, Todd and Dana Patress and Heather Patress; several aunts and uncles, including a special uncle, Fred Zette; and an adult daughter, Shannon. Friends will be received on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Fred McCloskey officiating. Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a memorial trust at Washington Area Teacher’s Federal Credit Union, for his daughter, Kenna, 1245 Park Ave., Washington, PA 15301.
