Ruth Loreine Logsdon

Ruth Loreine Logsdon, 91, of Washington, formerly of Taylorstown, died on Thursday, May 10, 2012, in The Washington Hospital. She had been in declining health for 6 months. She was born on February 10, 1921, in Washington, a daughter of the late Ray and Beulah Wilson Taylor. A 1938 graduate of Trinity High School, she was a member of the Washington Alliance Church. Mrs. Logsdon had worked for 30 years as a deli manager, at the Bi-Lo Grocery Store. She loved spending time with her family. In 1942, she married Robert Goslin, who died. In 1956, she married William Logsdon, who died in 1973. Surviving are 3 daughters, Susan (Donald) Huggins, of Claysville; Linda Coker, of Omega, GA; and Peggy Hott, of Washington; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Deceased, is a brother, Edward Taylor. Services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Washington Alliance Church, 246 Sanitarium Rd., Washington, PA 15301.
