Edward Leroy Kelley, 68, of Washington, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 10, 2012, in his residence.
He was born on August 8, 1943, a son of the late Edward Alexander and Margaret Elouise Jones Kelley.
He attended Avella area schools.
Mr. Kelley had worked for 12 years at Mayflower-Beacon Moving Company.
He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing.
His wife, Wilma Joyce Hoberek Kelley, survives.
Also surviving are 3 sons, Robert (Becky) Hoberek; Edward and Scott Hoberek, all of Washington; 4 daughters, Mia (Shawn) Johnson; Linda (Tyrone) Chandler; Margaret “TuTu” (Mark) Jemison and Edwina Hoberek, all of Washington; 4 sisters, Carol Brown, of Burgettstown; Linda Kelley, of Westland; Wanda Hicks, of Washington, and Vicki (Kevin) Raney, of Washington; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, a brother-in-law, Pete Latshaw, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Deceased, are 2 sisters, Beverly Kelley and Marva Latshaw.
Friends will be received on Monday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Myron C, Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in West Middletown Cemetery.
