Margaret Marie “Peg” Bradley, 80, of Washington, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012, in Donnell House. She had been in declining health for the past two years.
She was born February 27, 1932, in Washington, a daughter of Andrew Thomas and Hazel Laura Dunn Bradley.
Ms. Bradley was a 1950 graduate of Washington High School. She worked at the Observer-Reporter for 27 years and at Drakenfeld.
Ms. Bradley was a member of First Lutheran Church.
She enjoyed animals and watching football.
Surviving are two sisters, Iris Roup and Jean (John) Schirosky, both of Washington; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are sisters, Mildred E. Carey, Sarah H. Turk, and Dorothy Sprowls; and brothers, Thomas David, who died in infancy, and William, Robert, Kenneth, Earl and Patrick Bradley.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 18th, with Rev. Dr. Kenneth Schott officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
