Former mechanic enjoyed fishing, bowling.
Barry Allan Lippencott, 60, of Washington, died Saturday, May 19, 2012, in Donnell House, Washington.
He was born May 5, 1952, in Waynesburg, son of Robert McKane and Opal Fern Krause Lippencott.
Mr. Lippencott graduated from Waynesburg Central High School and served two enlistments in the U.S. Army, serving one tour in Germany.
He attended auto mechanics school for two years and was an automotive mechanic at Firestone in Washington, where he worked for several years.
When healthy enough to do so, he enjoyed fishing and bowling.
Surviving are brother Robert (Carol) Lippencott of Waynesburg; twin sister Barbara (John) Dehner of Maiden, N.C.; niece Carol Lynn Lippencott; nephew Bobby Lippencott; great-niece Ariel Lippencott; great-nephew Nathaniel Lippencott; and friend Amy Chicorh.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 24, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating.
