McDonald Gault, Jr., 80, of Washington, died Monday, May 21, 2012, in Presbyterian Senior Care.
He was born November 30, 1931, in Rea, son of McDonald Gault, Sr., and Martha Jane Stewart Gault.
Mr. Gault was a 1951 graduate of Hickory High School and worked as a machinist at Star Dynamics for 43 years.
A member of Twenty Pines Hunting Club, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and playing cards. He was an avid fan of all professional and college sports in Pittsburgh.
Mr. Gault was a member of Cross Creek United Presbyterian Church.
On August 28, 1953, he married Della Hewitt, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Debra Schussler of Brownsville; grandchildren, Christopher (Laci) Gault, John (Virginia) Schussler, Jeffrey (Erin) Schussler, Jayme (Mark) Stroup and Jacob Schussler; great-grandchildren, Riley Gault, Christopher “Deuce” Gault, Jr.; Zoe Schussler, Colin Schussler and Jaylee Stroup; nieces, Jane Reese, Bridget Wolfe, Rachael Russo; and a nephew, Timmy Reese.
Deceased is a son, Donald J. Gault.
Friends will be received 3 to 7 p.m., the time of service, Friday, May 25th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
