Mary Jane Unrue

Mary Jane Unrue, 72, of Washington, died Monday, May 21, 2012, in the Washington Hospital. She was born January 22, 1940, in Washington, a daughter of Edith Briggs. Mrs. Unrue was a homemaker. She was a former member of Canton Township Fire Department Womens Auxiliary and a former den mother for Boy Scouts. On September 19, 1955, she married John Unrue, who survives. Also surviving are a son, John (Mary) Unrue, Jr. of Brownsville; a daughter, Regina Blankinsop of Washington; brother, William Durbin; sisters, Harriet and Elizabeth; and grandchildren, Joslyn Unrue, Richard Unrue and Jasmine Unrue. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2012, at Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray. Those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery.
