Nell Rose Miller, 84, of Taylorstown, died Sunday, May 27, 2012, in the Washington Hospital.
She was born October 7, 1927, in Washington, daughter of Clarence Clark and Helen Mattax Mounts.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker who was known for her delicious chocolate chip cookies. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as sewing and cross-stitch.
A member of Taylorstown Christian Church, she taught Sunday School for 30 years.
In April 1950, she married Gale R. Miller, who died January 18, 2002.
Surviving are two daughters, Karen Frame of Washington and Ruth Ann Blumer of Edinboro; four grandchildren, Joshua Frame, Matthew, Philip, and Amber Blumer; and two great grandchildren, Bryce Champagne and Robert Blumer.
Deceased are a sister, Mary Ellen Kelchner; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
Friends will be received Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, June 1st, at Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray, with Pastor Duane Durham officiating.
