Carol Rae Moore, 63, of Washington, died on Thursday, May 31, 2012, in her residence, following a 1-year illness.
She was born on September 28, 1948, in Pulaski, VA, a daughter of Henry Eugene and Kathryn Kiser Dittman.
A 1966 graduate of McGuffey High School, she also attended the Gale Institute in Minneapolis, for flight attendant training.
Mrs. Moore had worked for 8 years as a field manager for Specialty Directory Distribution Services, in Atlanta.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren, scrap booking, reading, crocheting and sewing and was a huge NASCAR Racing fan.
On March 22, 1967, she married Robert Carl Moore, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Terry (Christy) Moore, of Prosperity; 2 daughters, Racine Moore, of Erie and Staci (Paul) Evert, of Washington, and 2 grandchildren, Joseph and Makayla Evert.
Friends will be received on Saturday, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held on Monday, June 4, 2012, at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens.
