Avella homemaker who loved animals
Evelyn Marie Panjuscsek, 81, of Avella, died Friday, June 8, 2012, in Washington County Health Center, Chartiers Township, following a lengthy illness.
She was born March 12, 1931, in Washington, a daughter of the late Harold B. “Jack” and Ruth Ann Fender Hayden.
Mrs. Panjuscsek was a graduate of Trinity High School.
She was a homemaker who loved animals and enjoyed baking and cooking.
On March 3, 1951, she married Peter Panjuscsek, who died December 6, 2003.
Surviving are a son, John (Mary) Panjuscsek of Richmond, Ohio; a daughter, Evelyn (Pat) Yovich of New Cumberland, W.Va.; a brother, Samuel H. Hayden of Tigard, Ore.; two sisters, Louise Main and Nancy Kisner, both of Washington; three grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany and Greg; and a great-grandchild, Ashton.
Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are a son, Pete Panjuscsek Jr.; and three sisters, Betty Yeager, Phyllis J. Hayden and Mary Joann Hayden.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m., the time of a blessing service, Monday, June 11, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Father Pierre Sodini as celebrant.
Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family in West Point Cemetery.
