Shirley Ann Orsky

Shirley Ann Orsky, 72, of Canonsburg, died Saturday, June 9, 2012, in Greenery Specialty Care, Canonsburg, following a one-year illness. She was born March 3, 1940, in Washington, daughter of Harry and Martha Lobozzo Ward. Mrs. Orsky worked at Country Meadows in the Dietary Department for 18 years and also at Angelo’s Restaurant as a hostess. She was Catholic by faith and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and crafts. Surviving are two sons, Michael S. Orsky, Sr., (Christina Ward) of Marianna and Rick Orsky of Washington; a daughter, Venus Michelle Little Fruecht of Carnegie; three brothers, Harry Ward of Washington, Bob Ward of Prosperity and Donnie Ward of Michigan; a sister, Betty Ruetschi of Prosperity; and seven grandchildren, Ocean Orsky, Michael Orsky Jr., Stormy R. Orsky; Justin Daniel Slider, Brianna Orum, Shana Hayes and Shane Andrew Biers; and a daughter-in-law, Evelyn Orsky-Pitzer. Deceased is a sister, Doreen Ward. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, June 16th, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
