Tillie Calabro, 80, of Washington, died Monday, July 30, 2012, in Presbyterian Hospital, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh.
She was born February 11, 1932, in Canonsburg, daughter of the late Wasyl and Tekla Chicarella Skowronski.
Mrs. Calabro was a graduate of Canonsburg High School and was a homemaker.
A member of the Lagonda Homemakers, she enjoyed reading, crocheting and crafts.
Mrs. Calabro was a very active member of Immaculate Conception Church.
On July 8, 1950, she married A.J. Calabro, who died March 18, 1997.
Surviving are two sons, Michael (Debra) Calabro of Jacksonville, Florida, and Richard Calabro of Hanover; a brother, Steven Skowronski; a sister, Julia Evonko; two grandchildren, Niccole and Gina Calabro; and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased are sisters Margaret Vingiquerra, Helen Pozzi, Pearl DeMarco and Ann Lesko; and a brother.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, August 3rd, in Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
