Mark Thomas Swan, Jr., 34, of Glendale, AZ, formerly of Washington, died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 4, 2012, in the home that he shared with his father.
He was born on February 25, 1978, in Washington, a son of Mark Thomas Swan, Sr., of Glendale, AZ and Sue Ellen Staggers Swan, of Washington.
Mr. Swan had attended Trinity High School, before graduating from high school in Phoenix, AZ.
He had worked as a tattoo artist, from his home, and also at Nick’s Service Station, before moving to Glendale, AZ, to care for his ailing father.
He was a member of the Polish Club, in Washington.
Mr. Swan was a gifted artist, who enjoyed cooking, and was known to be able to draw or cook anything.
An avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, he especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Michael Joseph Swan, of Glendale, AZ, his maternal grandmother, Lena Clutter Taylor, of Washington, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Deceased, are his paternal grandparents, Mark and Ella Thompson Swan, and his maternal grandfather, Joseph R. Staggers.
