Margaret B. Collis, 88, of Washington, died on Thursday, August 9, 2012, in her home.
She was born on September 21, 1923, in Washington, a daughter of Nick and Helen White Bell.
A 1941 graduate of Washington High School, she was a member of Fairhill Manor Christian Church.
Mrs. Collis had worked for 25 years for A&P, at Duncan Miller, for 3 years, as a polisher, and at Shop ‘n Save, for 27 years.
The greatest joys in her life, have been her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She also enjoyed knitted and crocheting.
On November 10, 1941, she married Samuel Henry Collis, who died on March 11, 2006.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda (Terry) Faust, of Washington; a twin brother, Gus Bell, of Washington, 2 grandchildren, Megan (Jack Piatt, III) Faust, and Tera (Frank Lozar) Faust; 4 great grandchildren, Margo Craig, Tess Lozar, Talia Lozar and Jackson Brady Piatt.
Deceased is a sister, Mary Frances Corsie.
Friends will be received on Sunday, from 12 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held on Monday, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Michael Lehman officiating.
Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
