Betty Lou Barnhart Rizor Wright, 66, of Washington, died on Friday, August 10, 2012, in her home, following a brief illness.
She was born on September 22, 1945, in Spring Hill Township, a daughter of the late William Henry and Dora Lea Miles Barnhart.
She was a graduate of Stratford Institute.
Mrs. Wright was very active in Beulah Baptist Church, of Graysville.
She worked for Diversified Home Health Care, and she loved playing Ching-Ching.
On September 3, 2006, she married Dale K. “Kenny” Wright, who survives.
Also surviving are 2 sons, Robert (Joy) Rizor, Jr. and Chuck (Tami) Rizor, both of Washington; 2 stepsons, Kenny and Donald Wright; 3 daughters, Dora Rizor (Chuck) Dean, of West Alexander, Tamara “Tammy” (Dave) Rizor Wright, of Claysville, and Penny Rizor (Bob Johnson) Holmes, of Washington; a step daughter, Sherry Draybeck; 3 sisters Edna Ross, of Kentucky, Shirley Pattison, of Prosperity and Nancy Clutter, of Washington; 11 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are 3 brothers, Thomas, Eugene and Robert “Buck”; and 2 sisters, Rosalee and LouAnn.
Friends will be received on Monday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Tuesday, August 14, 2012, with Rev. Dr. Harry A. Hill, Jr., officiating.
Burial will follow in West Finley Cemetery.
At the request of the deceased, no flowers will be accepted at the funeral home.
