Peggy Ann Mason

Peggy Ann Mason, 84, of Hickory, died Saturday, August 11, 2012, in the Donnell House. She was born on June 24, 1928 and was the daughter of Lewis and Rose A. Price Wilson. On May 27, 1950, she married Ralph A. Mason, who died on November 15, 2001. Mrs. Mason was a home maker. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, bird watching, reading, going on cruises, and writing her own songs to sing. Her biggest joy was having children and spending time with them and her grand daughter. Surviving are two sons, Gregory C. Mason of Fairmont, West Virginia and Zachary L. Mason of Hickory; and a grandchild, Sierra R. ( Ryan ) Cain. Preceding her in death are a son, Jeffrey A. Mason and a brother, Fred R. Wilson. Friends of Peggy Ann Mason, 84, of Hickory, who died Saturday, August 11, 2012, will be received on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 1:00 PM. The family is requesting donations be made to the Donnell House c/o Washington Hospital Foundation, Wilson Ave, Washington PA 15301. Burial will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory.
