Marsha Ann Martinelli, 54, of Pittsburgh, died Sunday, August 12, 2012.
She was born November 19, 1957, in Washington, a daughter of Richard Floyd Poland, Sr. and Norma Jean Lang Poland, both of Washington.
Mrs. Martinelli was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. For 30 years, she worked for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center/Presbyterian Hospital, retiring as supervisor of the Nuclear Medicine Department.
Mrs. Martinelli enjoyed traveling and reading.
Surviving are her children, Michael (Jill) Cole, Justin (Valerie) Cole and Nicole (Eric) Poorman; brothers, Danny (Melinda) Poland and Jeff (Sharon) Poland; a sister-in-law, Sue Poland; grandchildren, Michael, Tylor, Micaela, Abigail and Emma; her fiancé, David Townsend; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Richard Poland; a sister who died at birth; and a nephew, Danny Poland.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, August 17th. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
