Evelyn Mae Inks, 78, of Washington, died on Thursday, August 23, 2012, in Humbert Lane, surrounded by her family.
She was born on April 21, 1934, in Washington, a daughter of Charles and Stella Lucas Olinger.
A member of the First Baptist Church, she had worked at Thomas Campbell Apartments as a cook.
Her husband, Melvin Inks, died in 1973.
Surviving are a son, Kevin (Ericka) Inks; 5 grandchildren, Courtney (Clint) Bristor, Ashley Robertson, Joshua Inks, Erik Maniecki and Zion Inks, a great grandchild, Lyric Bristor, many nieces and nephews, a brother-in-law, Joe Lober and a sister-in-law, Elaine Inks.
Deceased, are a daughter, Sheila Robertson, 3 sisters, Hazel Lober, Lavina (Dick) Snow, and Helen (Cecil) Gorby; a brother, Charles (Norma) Olinger, and a brother-in-law, Ray Inks.
Friends will be received on Monday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of services, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington, with Rev. Steven Dunlap officiating.
