Donna Blacka, 76, of Washington, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012, in UPMC-Shadyside Hospital, following a brief illness.
She was born January 22, 1936, in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late John Yost and Lucille Hillberry Yost Crouser.
Mrs. Blacka worked as the ladies’ wear department manager as well as a service desk clerk and office clerk at Kmart in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. She retired after 22 years of service.
Mrs. Blacka enjoyed housework and working with computers.
On May 10, 1954, she married William C. Blacka, Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, William C. Blacka, Jr., and Scott A. Blacka, both of Washington; two brothers, Simon Yost and Caleb “Sunny” Crouser, Jr., both of Jefferson; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Deborah Lynn Schmock; a brother, Walter Yost; and her stepfather, Chester Crouser.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, September 10th, in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township, with Rev. Robert Neal officiating. William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington, is handling arrangements.
