Barbara JoAnn Kelley, 74, of Washington, died Wednesday, September 5, 2012, in her residence.
She was born June 3, 1938, in Washington, a daughter of the late Arley and Mary Amon Hannen.
Mrs. Kelley attended Washington High School and worked as a cashier for McDonald’s for 20 years.
She was a member of Calvary Temple and was an avid Steelers fan.
On December 13, 1965, she married Cyrus Edward Kelley, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Bonnie Johnson and Judy Caldwell, both of Washington, and Lisa Adams (Roger) of Clarksville; five brothers, Richard Hannen of New Waterford, Ohio, Bobby Hannen of Canton, Ohio, Billy Hannen and Donnie Hannen, both of Washington, and Gary Keener of Claysville; a sister, Becky Keener of Elm Grove, West Virginia; eight grandchildren, Stacy Martin, James Rush, Amy Norris, Amanda Alton, April Snyder, Alison Adams, Michael Johnson and Crystal Johnson; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Susan Cage; two sons, Gary and Cyrus Kelley; and two sisters, Shirley Warren and Cecillia Cage.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, September 8th, with Pastor Allan Jeffries officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of the Washington Hospital, 155 Wilson Avenue, Washington PA 15301.
