Robert Andrew Bell, 77, of Washington, died Saturday, September 8, 2012, in Donnell House.
He was born May 29, 1935, in Washington, a son of David and Ann Maceyko Bell.
Mr. Bell attended Chartiers-Houston High School and was a veteran of the Army. For 40 years he was a steelworker at Jessop Steel.
Mr. Bell enjoyed playing golf with his friends, spending time with his grandchildren, and walking his dog, Buddy.
He was a member of Holy Trinity National Catholic Church.
On May 6, 1961, he married Phyllis Czmiel, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Brian Bell (Michele) of Washington and Barre Bell (Lisa) of Indiana, PA; two grandchildren, Philip Bell and Ryan Bell.
Deceased are a brother, David J. Bell, and a sister, Mary Ann Corrick.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 13th, in Holy Trinity Church, with Father Mark Swoger as celebrant. Burial will be held at a later date and time to be announced. Memorial contributions may be made to Donnell House, Hospice Care of the Washington Hospital, 155 Wilson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301; or to Meals on Wheels, 69 West Maiden Street, Washington, PA 15301.
