Isabella Marie Loughman, 79, of Washington, died Sunday, September 23, 2012, in the Washington Hospital. She had been in declining health.
Mrs. Loughman was born September 20, 1933, in Washington, a daughter of Dominick and Rose Bellotti Romano.
She was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church, in Washington, and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Loughman was a nurse’s aide at Washington County Health Center and previously at Ankrom’s Nursing Home. At one time she had worked at Hazel Atlas #2.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, and playing bingo.
On April 21, 1951, she married Robert A. Loughman, Sr., who died May, of 1992.
Surviving are a son, Dominick (D.J.) Loughman, of Richmond, Indiana; three daughters, Debora (Greg) Belcastro, of Washington, Barbara (Brad) Cowden, of Winter Springs, Florida, and Marcy (Dan) Poland, of Washington; three brothers, Russell Roveno, of Pittsburgh, Dominick (Scooter) Romano, of Washington, and Joseph Romano, of Delaware; 6 grandchildren, Melissa Meredith, Justin Belcastro, Tara Knight, Hilary Jones, Dan “Boone” Poland, and Ashley Poland; and nine great grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Robert A. Loughman, Jr., and a grandson, Nathan Loughman.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a blessing service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2012, with Father Thomas D. O’Neil officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Gardens Cemetery, McMurray.
