Agnes A. Davidson, 87, of Washington, died Monday, September 24, 2012, in Washington County Health Center, following a five-year illness.
She was born November 27, 1924, in Washington, a daughter of Gust and Agnes Sten Davidson.
A graduate of Trinity High School, Ms. Davidson worked as a sales clerk at Woolworth’s, worked at Washington Steel, and was a bookkeeper at Warrick’s Flower Shop and Stimmell’s Flower Shop.
She enjoyed baking and bowling.
Mrs. Davidson was a lifetime member of First Lutheran Church, and a member of the Balder Lodge.
Surviving are a brother, Alfred Davidson, of Washington; two sisters, Esther Davidson and JoAnn Schultz, both of Scenery Hill; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Davidson and Victoria Davidson; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, Carl Davidson and Donald Davidson; and a sister, Adella Davidson.
Friends will be received Wednesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 27th, with Rev. Dr. Kenneth N. Schott officiating.
Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
