Stanley Arnez Chandler, Sr., 45, of Washington, died Sunday, September 30, 2012, in UPMC – Presbyterian Hospital.
He was born January 30, 1967, in Washington, a son of Mae Woods Chandler of Washington and the late Joseph Chandler Sr.
Mr. Chandler was a 1985 graduate of Trinity High School. He worked at Wendy’s for several years, as a constable, and as a minister at Apostolic Christian Temple.
Mr. Chandler was a girls basketball coach, a softball coach for TWIST, and a football coach for the West Washington Colts.
He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.
Surviving are two sons, Stanley Chandler Jr. and Christian Spencer, both of Washington; four daughters, Amber Chandler of Houston, Justine Chandler, Alyssa Chandler and Shayla Chandler, all of Washington; three brothers, Joseph Chandler Jr. (Denise) and Tyrone Chandler Sr. (Linda), both of Washington, and Brian Chandler (Natalie) of Rochester, New York; a sister, Tina Chandler of Pittsburgh; and six grandchildren, Zane Chandler, Grace Chandler, Noah Sparks, Braydan Dailey, Carson Chandler and Celina Chandler.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 1 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, October 4th, from 10 a.m. to Noon, the time of service, in Apostolic Christian Temple, 164 West Wylie Avenue, Washington. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
