Karen Elizabeth Miller, 69, of Washington, died Thursday, October 4, 2012, in her residence. She had been in declining health.
She was born February 27, 1943, in Canonsburg, a daughter of W. Dwight and Genevieve E. Hultz Hays.
Mrs. Miller was a graduate of Chartiers High School. She worked at Findley Refractory in the payroll department, at Washington Hospital in the billing department, and, for 21 years, at EmerMed as a billing clerk.
Mrs. Miller attended Hart Avenue Church of the Nazarene.
On August 17, 1984, she married Bernard M. Miller, Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, John Lindley (Lynne) of Claysville and Bernard M. Miller, Jr. (Gina) of Clarksville; a sister, Lois Greineisen of McMurray; three grandchildren, James Miller, Jason Miller and Nathan Miller; a great-grandson, Dominick Miller; a nephew, Butch Young; and a niece, Mandy Greineisen.
Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 6th, with Rev. James York officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
