Ruth Ann Morman, 82, of Washington, died Monday, October 22, 2012, in Humbert Lane Personal Care Home.
She was born January 16, 1930, in Washington, a daughter of Raymond and Roeine Griffin Gordon.
Mrs. Morman was a graduate of Washington High School and worked as a nurses aid for 30 years, retiring from the Washington Hospital.
She enjoyed being with her family.
Mrs. Morman was a member of St. Paul AME, where she was once active in the church and with the fundraising committee.
In 1948, she married C. Russell Morman, who died in 1962.
Surviving are two daughters, Ruthie Mae Morman and Evonne Morman, both of Washington; two brothers, Donald Gordon of Canonsburg and John Gordon of Buffalo, New York; three grandchildren, Jason E. Morman of Washington and Darnell Morman and Brian Morman, both of Philadelphia; and two great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sons, Russell C. Morman and Arthur D. Morman; four brothers, Raymond Jr., Harold, James and Bobby Gordon; and a sister, Flora Grinage.
Friends will be received Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, October 27th. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
