Albert A. Bier, Jr.

Albert August Bier, Jr., 50, of Washington, died on Monday, November 12, 2012, in Greenery Specialty Care, Canonsburg. He was born on March 10, 1962, in Washington, a son of the late Albert August Bier, Sr., and Antoinette Siedlak Bier. A graduate of Trinity High School, he was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church, and had worked at Perryman Corporation as a machine operator. He was a passionate Oakland Raiders fan. Surviving are 2 sisters, Evelyn (Daniel) Messmer, of Latrobe and Becky (Rick) George, of Washington; 5 nieces and nephews, Kimberly (Jason) Andria, Heather (Steve) Bly, Chris (Rachel Ziemba) George, Amanda (Dan Speal) Messmer, and Jacob (Megan Stahl) Messmer, and 2 great nieces, Alivia Marie and Zoey Lee Andria. Friends will be received on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, November 16, 2012, in St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church.
