Albert August Bier, Jr., 50, of Washington, died on Monday, November 12, 2012, in Greenery Specialty Care, Canonsburg.
He was born on March 10, 1962, in Washington, a son of the late Albert August Bier, Sr., and Antoinette Siedlak Bier.
A graduate of Trinity High School, he was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church, and had worked at Perryman Corporation as a machine operator.
He was a passionate Oakland Raiders fan.
Surviving are 2 sisters, Evelyn (Daniel) Messmer, of Latrobe and Becky (Rick) George, of Washington; 5 nieces and nephews, Kimberly (Jason) Andria, Heather (Steve) Bly, Chris (Rachel Ziemba) George, Amanda (Dan Speal) Messmer, and Jacob (Megan Stahl) Messmer, and 2 great nieces, Alivia Marie and Zoey Lee Andria.
Friends will be received on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison, Washington.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, November 16, 2012, in St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church.
