Danny L. Mitchell

Danny Louis Mitchell, 57, of Washington, died unexpectedly, Monday, November 12, 2012, in his residence. He was born August 8, 1955, in Washington, a son of the late Louis Mitchell, Jr. and Faye Stallar Mitchell-Smith. Mr. Mitchell was a graduate of Washington High School, where he played in the band. He was a member of ABATE and played bass guitar in several bands. Surviving are a son, William Mitchell; a daughter, Danielle Mitchell, both of Washington; a brother, William (Cora) Mitchell of Bentleyville; and two sisters, Kathy McFall of Washington and Myra Bertrand of Michigan. Deceased is a brother, Richard Mitchell. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of service, Friday, November 16, 2012, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Harold McClelland officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
