Norman Dale Fetherlin

Norman Dale Fetherlin, 78, of Bethel Park, died Friday, November 23, 2012, in the Donnell House, Washington. He was born October 10, 1934, in Washington, a son of Garfield and Mary Myrtle Bryner Fetherlin. Mr. Fetherlin was a 1952 graduate of Washington High School and graduated from Penn Commercial College in 1954. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1958 and was discharged as a Staff Sergeant. Mr. Fetherlin worked in the tire industry at Plaza Rubber Corporation and managed in the auto parts warehouse at Service Sales of Pittsburgh. He was a member of First Christian Church. On December 21, 1954, he married Shirley Ann Davis, who died November 26, 2005. Surviving are three sons, James N. Fetherlin, of Bethel Park, Jon A. Fetherlin, of South Greensburg, and Jay C. Fetherlin, of Bethel Park; seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Deceased are three brothers, Robert, David, and Donald Fetherlin. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, November 26, 2012. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
