William Arthur Locy

William Arthur Locy, 75, of Amwell Township, Washington, died Friday, December 14, 2012, in his home, following a 2-month illness. He was born January 20, 1937, in Washington, a son of Paul and Helen Comstock Locy. Mr. Locy served in the U.S. Army, for 10 years, 11 months, and for his service received the National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and 4 Overseas Bars. He was honorably discharged on August 6, 1968. Mr. Locy was former owner of Washington Fence Company; and at one time, owned and operated Eighty Four-Pay Lakes. He was also formerly employed at Jessop Steel, and was a lifelong dealer at flea markets. He enjoyed all outdoor activities, especially fishing; and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Surviving are a son, William G. (Patricia) Locy, of Amity; two daughters, Rita (Erwin) Rohrbacher and Tracie (Michael) Vucic, both of Washington; six grandchildren, Jason, William, Jenny, Kimby, Matthew and Michaelene; seven grandchildren, little Jason, Trustin, Hailey, William II, Reagan, Noah and Aurora; and his former wife, Wilma Schreier Locy. Deceased are two brothers, Kenneth and Charles Locy; and a sister, Donna Locy. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, December 23rd, in North Ten Mile Baptist Church, Amity.
