Samuel Clyde Woodburn, 82, of Washington, died Friday, December 14, 2012, in his home, following a one-year illness.
He was born July 4, 1930, in Claysville, a son of John Thomas and Irene Lyle Woodburn.
Mr. Woodburn was a steelworker at Washington Steel for thirty-four years, retiring in January of 1986.
On August 18, 1950, he married Anna Marie Klick, who survives.
Also surviving is a brother, Cecil Franklin Woodburn, of Cleveland, Ohio.
Deceased are three brothers, Ray, John, and LeRoy Woodburn; and four sisters, Pauline and Nelrose Woodburn, Everly McLaughlin and Sara J. Gump.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Burial will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
