Tammy Lynn Brooks, 49, of Washington, died Tuesday, December 16, 2012, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born July 7, 1963, in Washington, a daughter of Paula Ann Borgia Gullick and the late Dewey Ray Gullick, Sr.
Mrs. Brooks attended Trinity and Washington High Schools. She worked at the former Elby’s for 17 years, at Bob Evan’s on Oak Springs Road for 15 years, and at Denny’s for one year.
Mrs. Brooks attended Friendship Community Church and was a member of the Polish Club. She loved her grandchildren and animals and enjoyed gardening.
Mrs. Brooks’ organs were donated and will help multiple recipients.
On April 28, 1981, she married David D. Brooks, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, David (Rebekah) Brooks and Logan (Danielle) Brooks, both of Washington; three brothers, Kenneth Gullick and Dewey Gullick, Jr., both of Washington, and David Gullick of Doctors Inlet, Florida; two sisters, Teresa May of Washington and Mary Bisch of Waynesburg; and three grandchildren, Devin, Siddaly and Levi Brooks.
Friends will be received Noon to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m., the time of service, Saturday, December 22nd, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Rick Bruckner and Pastor Bob Hedges officiating.
