Anna LaRue Anderson, 76, of Washington, died Friday, January 11, 2013, in the Washington Hospital.
She was born August 26, 1936, in Washington, a daughter of the late Frank Ellsworth Lewis, Sr., and Dorothea Elaine Berry Lewis.
Mrs. Anderson graduated from Washington High School in 1954 and worked as a packer at Hazel Atlas and then at Brockway #7.
She had been a league bowler at the Alpine Lanes and enjoyed driving and competing in small tractor pulls.
For more than 50 years, Mrs. Anderson was a member of West Washington United Methodist Church.
On May 20, 1956, she married Floyd Harvey Anderson, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Brenda Elaine Clutter-Gashel (Wilber) of Washington; a brother, Frank E. Lewis Jr. (Reita) of Kirtland, Ohio; a sister, Bonita Aloha Pierson of Canonsburg; one grandchild, Floyd Anthony Clutter (Tera); and two great-grandchildren, Carolyn and Preston Clutter.
Deceased is a sister, Elda Greco.
Friends will be received Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, January 14th. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
