Charles Frederick Crouser, 77, of West Alexander, died on Saturday, January 19, 2013, in Humbert Lane.
He was born on November 15, 1935, in Dallas, WV, a son of Frederick Agnes Chedister Crouser.
He was retired from Box USA, where he was a truck driver.
Mr. Crouser loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved camping, fishing and puzzle books.
On November 15, 1986, he married Sharon Richmond, who survives.
Also surviving are 2 sons, Charles (Karen) Crouser, Jr., and Mark Walker, both of Washington; 6 daughters, Diana Cummins, and Terri Ferris, both of Washington, Janet (Frank) Julian, of Claysville, Susan (Todd) Diehl, of Washington, Carol (Gene) Kline, of Maryland, and Tammi (George) Horr, of Claysville; a brother, William (Linda) Crouser, of Ohio; 4 sisters, Mary Eddy, of Washington, Nellie McKahan, of Virginia, Ida (John) Pecjak, of Crucible, PA, and Wanita (Carl) Walsh, of Florida; 13 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, John Crouser, and a sister, Mildred Crouser.
Friends will be received on Monday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington, where services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will follow in the Claysville Cemetery.
