Charles Wayne Keenan, 57, of Claysville, died Tuesday, January 22, 2013, in the Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
He was born October 5, 1955, in Washington, a son of the late Lloyd L. and Harriett Nora Ritter Keenan.
Mr. Keenan was a graduate of McGuffey High School and served in the Marines during the Vietnam Era.
He was an ironworker with Local 3, Pittsburgh, for over 20 years.
Mr. Keenan was a member of American Legion 907 in Taylorstown and was a former township supervisor for Blaine Township.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Jo Palfrey Keenan; three sons, Cody W. (Sheena) Keenan of Claysville, Montana W. Keenan and Jason Dalfonso, both of Washington; a daughter, Brianne (Michael) Rosendale of Charleroi; five brothers, Larry, Jerry, John, Kenny and Danny Keenan; five sisters, Virginia “Sis” Kearns, Ruby Keeney, Mary Berdine, Shirley Stazko and Linda Pescho; and two grandchildren, Colin W. Keenan and Logan Keenan Dalfonso.
Deceased are brothers, Richard, Donald, James and Lloyd.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m., the time of service, in American Legion Post 907, Taylorstown, on Saturday, January 26th. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
