Marian L. McVay, 89, of Sebring, Ohio, formerly of Claysville, died Sunday, January 27, 2013.
She was born January 13, 1924, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Walter and Freda Metzer Lang.
Mrs. McVay was a member of United Church of Christ.
She was a homemaker and seamstress.
On June 21, 1946, she married Robert B. McVay, Jr., who died August 20, 1999.
Surviving are a daughter, Chery Duell (Ray) of Minerva, Ohio; a sister, Audrey Linville (Harry) of Washington; and two grandchildren, Adam Simers of Nashville, Tennessee and Emily Simers of Tallmadge, Ohio.
Deceased are a daughter, Christine McVay; a brother, Robert Lang; and a sister, Dorothy Sperring.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, January 31st, with Pastor Peggy Shannon officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.
