Evelyn A. Knestrick

Evelyn Anna “Bill” Knestrick, 100, of Washington, died Saturday, February 2, 2013, in Humbert Lane Skilled Nursing. She was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, a daughter of Joseph H. McClelland and Mary Jane Peterson McClelland. Mrs. Knestrick worked as a glasscutter at Duncan Miller for many years. She enjoyed going to garage sales and flea markets. In 1942, she married Robert K. Knestrick, who died November 11, 2007. Surviving are three children, Geraldine McCombs, Barbara R. Ardeno and Beverly J. Hadix, all of Washington; five grandchildren, Frank Ardeno, Michael Ardeno, Robert Ardeno, Justin Hadix and Dakota Hadix; three great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. Deceased are a grandson, Shawn Hadix; a brother, Joseph H. McClelland; and two sisters, Sarah Elizabeth Milum and Mariam Loescher. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 7th, with Pastor Edward Woods officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
