Elizabeth Jean Greely, 90, of Washington, died on Friday, March 1, 2013, in her residence.
She was born on January 1, 1923, in Scenery Hill, a daughter of Alfonso and Rose Ulanosky Bogochenko.
She had attended school in the Trinity School District.
A member of Third United Presbyterian Church, she was a homemaker.
Mrs. Greely enjoyed gardening, canning, crocheting and sewing, loved polka music, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
On October 26, 1946, she married Bernard Dale Greely, Sr., who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Bernard D. (Rebekah) Greely, Jr., of Washington; a daughter, Karen (Curtis) Beton, of Washington; 3 sisters, Julie Bogochenko, Nellie Tarbuck and Esther Cimino, all of Washington; 5 grandchildren, Gregory, Benjamin (Randi), and Jennifer Greely, Samuel Beton, and Courtney (Brinton) Bedillion; and 3 great grandchildren, Kaylee, Hayden and Owen Greely.
Deceased are 3 brothers, Alex, Michael and William Bogochenko; and 5 sisters, Louise Puskavich, Vera Bogochenko, Jennie Locy, Katherine Bogochenko and Helen Jochynek.
Friends will be received on Sunday, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Monday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2013, in Third United Presbyterian Church, 22 Cortez Dr., Washington, with Rev. Thomas Bellhy officiating. All who are attending the services on Tuesday, are to meet at the church.
Burial will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
