Loretta Lucille Gallagher Risbin, 85, of Washington, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, in Washington County Health Center.
She was born April 19, 1927, in Washington, a daughter of Osler Dewey Gallagher and Amanda Hall Gallagher.
Mrs. Risbin attended Trinity High School. She worked at Tygart Valley Glass for ten years and at Metro Glass for 20 years, and was co-owner of Risbin’s Bar and Grill for nine years.
Mrs. Risbin was a member of First Lutheran Church and a long-time member of Ladies of the Moose 22.
She was very interested in her Irish heritage and even travelled to Ireland.
On April 18, 1964, she married Robert A. “Red” Risbin, who died May 16, 2003.
Surviving are a son, Albert D. White; a daughter, Elizabeth Debra Bloom; a sister, Shirley J. Davidson, all of Washington; two grandchildren, Jodi Astorina and Jennifer Hawk; and three great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, O.D. Gallagher; four sisters, Eunice Kay Ross, Twilla Gallagher, Kate Aber and Mary Frances Gallagher, who died as an infant.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2013, in Washington Cemetery, 498 Park Avenue, Washington, with Rev. Dr. Kenneth Schott officiating.
