Frances O. Salisbury, 74, of Waynesburg, died Monday, May 6, 2013, in her residence.
She was born June 7, 1938, in Washington, a daughter of the late Frank and Marie Allen Marris.
Mrs. Salisbury was a homemaker who enjoyed working outside and animals, especially birds.
Surviving are a daughter, Judy (John) Luckett of Graysville; two stepsons, Billy and Jimmy Salisbury; two stepdaughters, Shirley Marlene Marquis and Joyce Walker; two sisters, Twila Moore and Shirley Moore, both of Washington; three grandchildren, Jodie Holland (Heather Stewart), Bendy Holland Jr. (Stephanie) and Jennifer Fisher; six grandchildren, Jessie Lynne Holland, Emily Fisher, Sarah Holland, Anthony Holland, Devin Stewart and Rodman Stewart; a niece, Sally Moore; and other nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, James Robert Salisbury; a sister, Wilda Durilla; and four brothers, Robert, Dewey, Joe and Grover Lee Holmes.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A graveside serviced will be held at 12:15 p.m., Thursday, May 9th, in Washington Cemetery. Those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery office by 12 p.m.
