Ronald Lawrence Keirs

Ronald Lawrence Keirs, 60, of Washington, died Sunday, May 5, 2013, in Hazel Day’s Personal Care Home. He was born November 4, 1952, in Washington, a son of Howard M. and Margaret Buchanan Keirs. Mr. Keirs graduated from Trinity High School in 1969 and was honorably discharged from the Navy on October 10, 1972. He worked as a laborer for Canonsburg Pottery and was a published poet. Surviving are a daughter, Carissa Phillips (fiancé Joseph Miller, Jr.) of Fairfield; a sister, Mona Wilson (Dick) of Washington; and two grandchildren, Cierra Phillips and Parker Miller. Deceased is a brother, Robert Keirs. There will be no public viewing or services.
