Shirley Jean Davidson

Shirley Jean Davidson, 83, of Washington, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013, after a 13-year battle with ovarian cancer. She was born June 29, 1929, in Washington, a daughter of Osler Dewey and Amanda Hall Gallagher. Mrs. Davidson was employed by Brockway Glass, in the lab, ware testing for 35 years. She loved her dogs and cats, gardening, landscape work and canning. She also loved her neighborhood and all who remained supportive to her. On October 1, 1952, she married Carl Davidson, who died February 15, 1992. Surviving is a daughter, Dawn (Richard) Moody of Pittsburgh. Deceased are five sisters, Twilla Gallagher, Kate Aber, Mary Frances Gallagher, Loretta L. Risbon and Eunice K. Ross.
