Robert Arthur Lunn, 86, of Washington, died Friday, May 10, at Washington Hospital.
He was born August 18, 1926, in Irwin, PA, the son of the late James M. Lunn and Ruth Wright Lunn.
Mr. Lunn was in the Navy aboard the U.S.S. Aircraft Carrier “Princeton”.
Robert was a graduate of Penn State with a Business Degree. He was a bank manager at PNC (formerly PNB) for 45 years.
Mr. Lunn was a life-long member of Taylorstown Presbyterian Church and the chaplain at the Taylorstown Legion. He was a member of the Sunset Lodge 32degree, a former Boy Scout Master and an Eagle Scout. He was a very handy person who enjoyed caning chairs and the outdoors.
On December 20, 1947, he married Joyce Arlene Winand, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Scott “Shoe” Lunn of Deer Lake; a daughter, Rebecca Danley of Tuscon, Arizona; three grandchildren, Joyce Ann, Melissa and Eric Lunn; three great grandchildren, Sarah, Haley and Katelynn.
Deceased is a brother, Stanley Dean Lunn.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, May 26, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Taylorstown Presbyterian Church with a dinner to follow. Arrangements are being handled by William G.
