Boyd Richard Frazee

Boyd R. Frazee, age 85 of Washington, went home to the Lord on May 29, 2013. He was born October 31, 1927 in Lone Pine a son of Dee and Mae Cain Frazee, Sr. He was a lifelong Washington County resident and a member of North Buffalo Presbyterian Church. He was an all star football player at Trinity High School and was awarded a full scholarship to W&J College but he elected to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Marines. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Drakenfeld for 40 years. Mr. Frazee liked to golf and bowl. He was a lifetime member of the Elks 776 and also a member of the American Legion Post 175. On July 22, 1950, he married Clara Jean Gorby who survives. Jean was the love of his life and he proudly told everyone they were married for 62 years. Also surviving is his nephew Rick McFeely, his wife Marlene and niece Kathy McFeely who were dedicated to his loving care, sisters-in-law, Lois (Honey) wife of Robert Moore, Ruth Walker, brother-in-law, Dick McFeely and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are his brothers, Franklin who died in infancy, Freeman, Dee Frazee, Jr., Harry, Leland and his sisters Evelyn Rock and Doris McFeely.
