Sarah Elizabeth Wilson

Sarah Elizabeth Wilson, 96, of Independence Township, died Monday, June 3, 2013 in the Donnell House. She was born November 14, 1916, in Prosperity, the daughter of Forest Craft III and Ellen Elizabeth Dodd Craft. Mrs. Wilson graduated from Washington High School in 1936 and attended California teachers college. Sarah was a Life Member of Grove United Presbyterian Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher and a member of the Grove U.P. Kitchen Band. She was also a 4-H leader for many years. On May 25, 1938, she married James Charles Wilson who died December 30, 2002. Surviving are two sons, Charles (Eleanor) Wilson of McDonald and Samuel (Kay) Wilson of Imperial; a daughter, Margaret (Nick) Radosevich of McCormick, South Carolina; nine grandchildren; Debbie, Donald, David, Timothy, Beth, Terri, Sherri, Matthew, John; thirteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren. Deceased is a daughter Mary Griffith; two brothers; Kenneth and Fred Craft; a sister, Mary Louise Boone. Friends will be received Wednesday, June 5th from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 6th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 7th at Grove United Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Jack Emerick officiating. Burial will follow in West Middletown Cemetery.
